London is a beautiful city to visit over the festive season thanks to its Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park, but it is equally known for its jaw-dropping New Year’s Eve celebrations. Every year, locals and tourists headed over to the south bank where the biggest part of the festivities took place. Before Covid, you could start the new year by listening to the chimes of Big Ben, and watch the fireworks display take place around you. Though the Mayor of London has put a stop to this for the time being due to the pandemic, there will still be festivities taking place towards Trafalgar Square.

If you’re looking for something a little less traditional, then London’s bars will have plenty of alternatives. Ballie Ballerson in Shoreditch is a bar with a ball pit. And for New Year’s Eve, they offer 2 for 1 drinks and fun and games. Another way to enjoy London’s nightlife to celebrate 2022, is an evening at sophisticated The Willows, normally a wedding venue. Expect DJ sets, bubbles, a 3 course-meal and a fireworks display. If you’re ready to splash the cash, then this is the way to do it!
